         An Update on International Adoption

Sam Pitkowsky, co-president of the N.Y.C. chapter of APC will be our guest speaker.   Sam will discuss what is new in the international adoption arena.

The talk will include what countries are presently open for Americans interested in adopting abroad, how the Hague convention is impacting international adoption, the paperwork involved with the INS,  and the ins and outs of adopting abroad.

ISSUES & CONCERNS:  Following the topic, you may share in our roundtable discussion covering pre-adopt or post adopt topics of concern.
