SINGLE PARENT ADJUSTMENTS 

Speaker:  Karen Moline, adoptive parent, author/ghost writer of over 20 books, including Nanny 911, the tie-in to the hit show on Fox, and Good Enough Mother, with former CBS Early Show anchor Rene Syler. She is also a board member of PEAR, Parents for Ethical Adoption Reform

This workshop will cover the unforeseen adjustments all single parents need to be prepared for (sleep, finances, attachment issues, support network, travel).

THE GIFTS AND CHALLENGES OF ADOPTION FOR THE GAY, LESBIAN, BISEXUAL AND TRANSGENDER FAMILY

Speaker:  Ken Page LCSW, psychotherapist specializing in the human intimacy journey. He has led hundreds of workshops on spirituality, parenting, and personal growth, for the LGBT and larger communities.

This workshop will cover, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Adoptive Families and Loved Ones as they explore and celebrate the gifts and challenges faced in often under-supported families.

Learn from a panel of APC families who recently adopted their journey of independent, agency and international adoption.
