Children's Relief

The Children’s Relief Committee acts as a bridge between APC and the orphaned or abandoned children of the world who for many reasons are not yet adopted. The items most needed are medicines and toiletries dated to expire no less than one year from the time of donation. We also can accept clothing and toys, appropriate for children of all ages. Toys must be of the types that do not require the knowledge of English or the need for batteries. They also must be of a size that can be mailed. Please feel free to bring your donations to any APC General Meeting.

Products are all required to be new, unopened and if expiration dated, at least 1 year from expiration.

We all see items such as those listed above on sale at a price to-good-to-believe, but nonetheless pass on the sale because we have no need for the items. We base our decisions either on the age of our children or the stocks of supplies already in our households. We ask that you look upon these sales as opportunities to fulfill the needs of children around the world.

The Children’s Relief Committee can also accept your monetary donation. Past donations have been used to build a kitchen at an orphanage in China, pay for shipping of donated products, and purchase of sorely needed medical supplies and equipment. We have even hand delivered a Billi-Rubin lamp to an orphanage in Latin America. Checks are to be made out to the Adoptive Parents Committee and sent to APC, Attn: Children’s Relief or delivered to the Children’s Relief table at the General Meetings.
